Life is
simple.
Cassie is
content with what she has, a great job and wonderful friends. Everything
is perfect…until Ryder appears. She still has not forgiven him for
choosing music over her eight years ago.
Ryder is a
rock star, living the life he had always dreamed of. He is not
searching for love because who has time for that when you're constantly on the
road. But then his tour ends and he decides to go back home and
visit an old friend.
When those
old feelings resurface, will they be able to forgive and start anew?
Tich is an Oklahoma resident and
the mother of five. Her
passion for reading started at an early age when her Aunt Vicky gave her the
novel Heidi for Christmas. She
didn’t start writing until middle school, after being inspired by her best
friend’s short stories. “Genny’s stories weren’t just great but they
inspired me to put my pen and paper to good use.” Tich never thought of publishing her
works until working with Teresa on the Royal Blood series.

Tell my fans a little bit about yourself
and your books.
I was born and
raised in Oklahoma.
I stay up entirely too late watching TV
or reading. I love all genre of music
but listen to a lot of Bon Jovi and Bruno Mars. Some of my favorite things are butterflies,
purple/pink, candles, SyFy’s FaceOff, and WWE.
I’ve been
writing since I was in the 7th grade. I’m an extremely shy girl so I always kept my
stories hidden in notebooks until they made their way to the trash. It wasn’t until 2009 when my BFF Teresa
Fuentez talked me into writing the Royal Blood series with her that I came out
of my shell.
How many books have you written? What are their titles?
I have five
books published.
Forgiven – YA
novella
Devada (book 1
in the Angels & Demons series) – YA Paranormal
Love Redeemed –
Contemporary Romance
Princesses of
the Night (book 1 in the Royal Blood series) – NA Paranormal
Hold Fast (book
2 in the Royal Blood series) – NA Paranormal
What do
you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
When I’m not
writing I spend time with my family, I have five kids. We enjoy attending the high school football
games, movies, concerts…just to name a few.
What
advice would you give to an aspiring author?
Don’t give up! Writing is not an easy task. You’ll become discouraged along the way, we
all do. The important thing for you at
that point is to surround yourself around those that will lift you up. Ignore all naysayers.
Connect with
authors and bloggers, they will be your support along the way.
What’s
your favorite scene/line from your works?
Devada: “What?
These?” She nodded. “They’re fruit of the gods,” – Raum
Love Redeemed: “You’re lucky that I’m starving and these are
delicious, otherwise you’d be wearing some Kung Pao chicken in your hair.” –
Ryder
What's
the hardest thing about writing? The
easiest?
For me, the hardest part about
writing is finding enough quiet time to concentrate on my story. The easiest would have to be editing. I love editing.
What are
you currently reading?
Um…at this time
I am reading Love Redeemed. Not sure
what I’ll be reading once all of my edits are done.
What are you currently
working on?
I am
working on the third book in the Royal Blood series with Teresa. I also have another romance I’m writing and a
secret project. *evil grin*
What
books did you read as a child?
The first book
I read was Heidi. Other than that book,
most of the books I read as a kid were thrillers.
What genre is your favorite to read?
I read mostly Paranormal but I
love all romance, thrillers, and good Christian fiction.
How has
your life changed since you began writing?
How has my life changed? Well, my kids might tell you that I’m just a
little crazier than I was before. Lol. I spend a lot of my time talking with my characters;
it helps me to create scenes.
Writing has changed me quite a bit. I am not nearly as shy as I once was. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone in the
last couple of years. And that is a good
thing because I have gained confidence.
Do you listen to music
while you write?
I do. Mostly 80s and 90s music.
What's
been your favorite moment as an author?
The day that my kids said “Momma, you’re an author. That’s really cool.”
Out of
all of your characters, who is your favorite?
Do I have to choose? I guess my top favorite would have to be Ryder
(Love Redeemed)
You’re stranded on a
desert island. What books do you take with you?
Twilight. *sees that
look you just gave me* Hey, don’t judge me. ;)
