My name is Aria Williams, and I am a new author who loves to write Young adult and paranormal novels. I live on nine acres of beautiful pasture land in the central west of NSW. I work full time as a nurse, this is where I get a lot of my inspiration from. For me I find my inspiration in the form of many vices either good or bad. I write from the heart and use my novels to express myself. My first novel was born from my feelings of helplessness in a world where even the innocent die and many people are left wondering why. It felt right to create a character that could heal any physical illness with some minor consequences.  My second novel Heavenly hell is from my personal experiences involving harassment, and the dominating role in which people in positions of authority take and use to their own selfish advancements. When I am not writing or working, I like to play with my dogs and have fun with my friends.

I find it hard to sum up my life in a paragraph, but I'll try.
Reading has always been a passion for me, and writing as instinctive as breathing. Every inhale is an idea; every exhale a creation. Flutter will be my debut release, and I couldn't be more excited about it! The only thing I do better than writing you ask? Making beautiful girls. My daughter's will always be my greatest accomplishment.
I was born in Denver, Colorado -but I will always think of sunny Arizona as my home. I don't have a big family, but I'm close with my sister, brother & my mom. My mom is my hero, my inspiration, and I couldn't have asked for a more amazing person to be raised by.
4 things you should know about me: I'm very girly, but I can get down and dirty with the best of them. I adore the color pink, I love things that sparkle (including vampires) and I like even numbers (hence 4 things about me, not 5)

Ryan never stopped loving Alana, and now that she serendipitously dropped back into his life, he’s vowed never to lose her again.  But being together has its costs, and challenges Alana isn’t sure she can handle.
She finally has Ryan back; but how in the world is she supposed to share the love of her life with half of the women in New York City?

“Nothing’s wrong,” I try to pull his lips back to mine, but his head won’t budge. He just stares down at me with a forceful glare.
Resigned, I ball my fists over my eyes and sigh. “What do you want me to tell you? I’m insecure? I’m trying not to think about all the women you have all over you? Or of all the women you’ve had?”
“You’ve been with other people?”
“One other person Ryan. One other person besides you, and it was a disaster. I don’t even think it counts.”
“What do you mean?” he asks confused.
We never did dredge up my intimacy issues or talk about my sexual past, if you could even call it that. One boy my sophomore year of college, the all around nice guy I could never pull the trigger with. Even though I tried, desperately. I couldn’t muster up enough courage to go through with it. I was so messed up after Ryan; I had trouble letting anyone in.
Sexually that is.
We’d start but never finish.  And the one time it got to the point of penetration I absolutely freaked. We stopped speaking after that and I’ve sworn off men ever since.
“Intimacy was hard for me,” I tell him, “because I was always afraid I’d wake up, and who ever I spent the night with would be gone. I didn’t want to hurt like that again,” I look away from him. This conversation sucks. I don’t want to look weak. It’s a character flaw imbedded by my father. Remington’s aren’t weak. They don’t show emotion. They don’t even have emotions.
I’m not a very good Remington.
“Alana,” he coos, and I want to slap him. Maybe kiss him, “I didn’t know.”
“I didn’t want you to know.”
“You have to talk to me.”
“Talking isn’t my problem, Ryan.”
Thinking is.
“You didn’t tell me,” he stipulates, “Do you really think I’m not going to be here in the morning?”
I shrug, because for all intents and purposes I do believe he’ll be here tomorrow, but there’s still a hurt, eighteen year old girl inside me who needs to come to terms with what happened. That Ryan didn’t leave because he wanted to. He made a choice that affected more than just us. And it hurt us both equally the same.
“I don’t want to disappoint you,” I mumble, and now I’m beet red. I’m pretty sure when Emily told me to vulnerable in Ryan’s arms, she didn’t mean like this.
“Alana, you could never disappoint me,” he shifts while still on top of me, “I may have had more lovers than you, and I may take my clothes off for countless women, but you are the only one who can strip me bare.”

Interview with Seraphina Donovan and review of Been Loving You Too Long!

Ophelia Broulliard’s life has always been linked to the wealthy and powerful DuChamps family. The granddaughter of the family’s housekeeper, she’s worshipped Vincent DuChamps from afar--the ever unattainable prince in her fairy tale dreams. Little does she know that Vincent harbors his own secret feelings for her, but other darker secrets that he sees as an insurmountable obstacle to ever being the man she deserves, have prompted him to avoid her altogether.
When Thomas, the family patriarch dies, his will bears some unpleasant surprises for them both. Thomas wants nothing more than for Vincent and his siblings to be happy, and in his final act as the only father figure they’ve ever had, engineers a series of contingencies in his will that require them each to face their demons. Only too aware of what Vincent really feels for Ophelia, Thomas creates a situation that will force Vincent to confront his feelings. Unless, Vincent and Ophelia marry, Vincent and his siblings will lose everything, including the family business.
Forced into such close proximity, denying their attraction for one another becomes impossible. But even as they grow closer, other threats to the future of DuChamps Hotels and all that Vincent holds dear threaten to destroy their burgeoning relationship. Ophelia has played it safe her whole life. Taking a risk on Vincent is a frightening prospect. Will it be worth it, or will his secrets break both their hearts?

Tell my fans a little bit about yourself and your books.

I tend to write whatever I’m inspired by in the moment. Some are paranormal, some sci-fi, some are contemporary, some are menage, and some are traditional m/f romances. They also run the gamut from true erotica to erotic romance. It wasn’t a conscience decision to be hard to categorize, it just sort of happened.  But the beauty of independent publishing is that I can write what I want to and not what someone else wants me to!

How would you introduce your books to someone that has yet to read them?  I don’t write comedy, but there is always some humor in my books. Let’s face it. Life is funny.  I’d probably recommend starting with Bad Girl Lessons. It’s a shorter novella, lots of humor and Southern charm.

What inspired you to start writing? What age did you start? I can’t actually remember a time when I didn’t write.  I spent a lot of my childhood at my grandmother’s house, watching her “stories” with her.  So whenever I was playing with my barbies, someone would invariably have an evil twin out to steal her man.  I don’t think I really had a choice!  As soon as I could spell, I was writing.

What advice would you give to an aspiring author? Christina Dodd said it best.  Put your butt in the chair and write.  Don’t give up.

What’s your favorite scene/line from your works?   Hmm.  That’s a tough one.  It would probably be from Bad Girl Lessons.  Jackson Cope was a charming bad boy with a heart of gold and he had some great lines!   This is one of my favorites:  Jackson allowed her to loop the ribbon around his wrists.  He even submitted to the big giant bow she tied the ribbon with, his only response was one raised eyebrow.  “You’re the  Martha Stewart of dominatrixes now?”

What's the hardest thing about writing? The easiest? The hardest thing about writing is exposing so much of yourself to the world, knowing that basically you’re waiting for someone to tell you that you’re baby is ugly.  As for the easiest, that’s the writing itself. It’s a part of who you are.

What are you currently reading?  I’ve been so busy writing, haven’t had much time to read lately.  I did just finish a historical by Mia Marlow called Stroke of Genius.

What are you currently working on?  I’m working the second book in the DuChamps Dynasty series, called Have a Little Faith in Me. It’s a follow up to Been Loving You Too Long.

What books did you read as a child?  Nancy Drew.  The Witch of Blackbird Pond. The Secret of Nymh. All the fairytales.

How has your life changed since you began writing? I always feel happier when I have a creative outlet.

Do you listen to music while you write?  I listen to a bit of everything, but I do build a playlist for each book.

What's been your favorite moment as an author?   Doing a book signing and having people that I don’t personally know tell me how much they loved my books.

Out of all of your characters, who is your favorite?   I love the character I’m working on right now, Kaitlyn DuChamps.  She’s gorgeous, but very wounded, and covers it all up with this bitchy socialite exterior.

What do you want readers to take away from your books? Just joy.

You’re stranded on a desert island. What books do you take with you?  Things I haven’t read yet!

What book(s) do you wish you would have written?  The Velvet Series by Jude Deveraux (yes, it’s ancient but so am I!).

What is your dream vacation destination? To travel through Europe, no destination, no itinerary, just pick up and go from one fabulous city to the next.

Do you have any interesting dreams or goals?  I’m living it right now.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Still writing, hopefully living in a better neighborhood!
If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be? Smartass.

Where can fans find you? On twitter as MissSeraphinaD, email:SeraphinaDonavan@gmail.com, Facebook:www.facebook.com/SeraphinaDonavan and my blog iswww.seraphinadonavan.blogspot.com

This is not your typical 'billionaire' type story. The two main characters, who have known each other for most of their lives (another thing I loved), have always loved and fantasized about the other. It is through a very unexpected situation that the pair are thrust (hehe) together and forced to marry or a lot of bad things will occur.

I absolutely adored this story. There's such an explosive chemistry between the two main characters that crackled right off the page. The sex was crazy hot! I knew right off the bat this was going to be a great story because of Vincent. All the Alpha males who think they are incapable of love have the best  and most beautiful stories because they fall the hardest. Him and Ophelia have this unbelievable, raw passion that blossoms into the most unconditional forms of love. It was quite the ride watching these two find their well deserved happiness.

The story line was great and really interesting. I love all of the 'hoops' their beloved Uncle is making them jump through in order to get their inheritance. I think what makes it even better is that all of the things he's making them do are incredibly beneficial to them. It's like he's taking care of them, even after death. I loved the brief flashbacks/nightmares Vincent has of his parents, I really like how that develop his character further and helps the reader to understand why he does the things he does.

What was amazing to me was how intrigued I was by all of the characters. I liked them all and look forward to reading about what the other two DuChamps siblings will have to go through in their own stories. I like that all of the characters are so mysterious and have all of their own secrets. Ophelia's roommate was a hoot and I'd love to read more about her, too!

I love the author's writing style and the way she added in little touches of New Orleans to give the story a wonderful richness that was just the icing on the cake. I love the fact that not only is the heroine a lovely, larger lady, but she went from being a helper to the family, a 'maid'/caretaker', to the incredibly wealthy bride of a high up business man.

I look forward to reading more from this author and continuing this series!!

Blog Tour: Thundering Luv by L.M. Preston!

Book Info:Thundering Luv
Luv Series Book #2
By L.M. Preston
Expected Publication Date: June 1, 2013
Published By: Phenomenal One Press

Book Blurb:
Jewel has always been able to get the guy she wanted. The starting jock on the football team, the team captain on the basketball team, and the lead swimmer on the swim team. Problem is, she didn't find them the least bit exciting. Was she cold or a she-wolf for guys? Colin thought so, and he'd do anything to bring her down a peg or two. When these two collide on the sandy beach during their mixed up summer vacation, sparks fly, making this a summer neither will forget.

LM. Preston was born and raised in Washington, DC. An avid reader, she loved to create poetry and short-stories as a young girl. With a thirst for knowledge she attended college at Bowie State University, and worked in the IT field as a Techie and Educator for over sixteen years. She started writing science fiction under the encouragement of her husband who was a Sci-Fi buff and her four kids. Her first published novel, Explorer X - Alpha was the beginning of her obsessive desire to write and create stories of young people who overcome unbelievable odds. She loves to write while on the porch watching her kids play or when she is traveling, which is another passion that encouraged her writing.

Jewel pictured Matt, muscular frame, thick shoulders, all the makings of a star quarterback, topped with curly red hair. Crap, he was gorgeous. What was she thinking, maybe she shouldn’t end it? “Uh…,”
“You’re scaring me. Talk to me, you know I love you like crazy. When you don’t answer my calls I’m thinking you don’t love me anymore,” Matt sounded almost whiny and she hated when they did that. Whined, cried, and made her feel like a she-witch.
“Well I’ve been busy. You know with the girls and we got here today. And since you … know I’ll be gone all summer maybe we should um take a break?” Jewel cleared her throat, feeling like scum. She should really be a pro at this, but she hated it, especially doing it where she had to hear or see her next victim. And she didn’t want to hurt them, she knew they’d be better off with someone who could really fall in love with them. Not someone like her, someone broken. Some of the guys she’d broken up with would cry, other’s had tried to physically hurt her. She’d learned her lesson and tried to break up in as distant a way as possible. But ending this with Matt now on the phone couldn’t be helped.
“No. I don’t want a vacation from you. I love you. I was thinking about driving up there today. Me and the guys could rent a place nearby. My dad said he’d foot the bill, and since him and my mother split he’ll do anything for me. He even brought me a new convertible, your sexy gold hair would feel good slapping against my face while I drive.” He cleared his throat, “And you’ll be able to ditch your cousin and stay with me – alone.”
Jewel slapped her forehead. Why couldn’t Matt take a hint. “But I, no I don’t think that’s a good idea. My mom barely let me come with Megs and Amy, because she’s so protective and if she knew I was meeting my boyfriend here she’d think you…and I were you know…,” she cleared her throat. Not only that, but being alone with Matt made her feel extremely uncomfortable. The last time they were alone at her house when he popped over unannounced, he’d almost ripped off her shirt fighting her while they kissed in her living room. He’d tried to force her blouse up, and she fighting him to put it down. If Megs hadn’t come over earlier than planned, Jewel didn’t know what would’ve happened. It was then Jewel decided to break it off with Matt.
“Say it? C’mon tell me you love me back and I’ll wait to come up. I kinda feel like, Jewel, I really miss you. And you never tell me you love me back. Yeah, you kiss me, tell me how great a person I am, and things other people don’t even notice about me, but you never seem to … give me part of yourself.” Matt cleared his voice, like he was about to continue.
“It’s because…well, I don’t … I’m not in love with you the way you want me to be. And I’m sorry Matt, I really am, but we need to break up. I can’t do this to you anymore,” Jewel felt like a lowlife. Again and again, she couldn’t give up hope that she’d find someone, somebody out there that her heart connected too. She’d thought it was Matt, felt a little flutter in her tummy when they’d first met, but it died the next day, and by then he’d pressured her to be his girlfriend. And after that, he like all her other ex-boyfriends started to turn scary.
