I am an Australian author who began writing when I was fifteen or sixteen, originally song lyrics, but then moved onto fanfiction when I was nineteen. Having published over 20 stories online. One of which was nominated for an award. I have also written, directed and starred in two original plays entitled, “No Frills Airlines: Flight 123,” and the sequel, “No frills Airlines: Come Fly with Us.” The latter of which was a musical.

I have studied everything from veterinary nursing, forensic science and dramatic arts but have always known my true calling was writing.
My hobbies include, writing my books and scripts, reading, singing, acting, directing, watching movies, 50’s fashion and playing with my animals. When I am not writing I can be found reading somewhere comfortable with one or both of my ‘fur babies’.

“It hurts,” Kat wailed, as Jacob carried her in his arms towards the infirmary. The Infirmary in the Sydney branch of Gabriel Academy was much larger than theirs had been at Blackbell, and much more equipped to deal with this type of thing.
“Ssh hold on. Just hold on,” he told her. Hushing her and stroking her hair as he half ran with her against his body.
“Put her down here,” A Michaelite Nun told him. She was dressed in a nurse’s uniform. He placed Kat down on the bed, being careful not to cause her any further pain, and squeezed her hand.
“It’s going to be okay. They know what they’re doing,” he told her. He had to stay calm for her. He had to try and comfort her. He couldn’t let her know that fixing her would be unlikely.
“You need to leave,” another Nun told him.
“No, Jake… please,” Sputtered Kat. Jacob noticed that she had begun to cough up blood. He peeled his eyes away from the crimson stain on the white sheets and trained them on her pale face. She was fading fast.
“I’m not leaving,” he told her quietly, pushing the hair out of her face. One of the Nuns came forward with a syringe. Kat’s eyes widened.
“What is that?” she asked weakly.
“Morphine.” Said the Nun with the syringe. “We need to work fast. Your metabolism will soon burn it off.” Kat cringed as the sister pushed the point of the needle into her arm. But the pain was nothing compared to the pain in her abdomen where the Tear Tip was lodged. Slow burning warmth began to creep throughout her body and she wondered if this was what Scarlett experienced every time her Trait appeared. Then her body went numb.
“I feel… sleepy,” she murmured.
“Its okay, you sleep. See you when you wake up.” Jacob told her. A tear rolled down his cheek and he didn’t move to wipe it away, he just let it fall. For it didn’t matter. He knew she wouldn’t wake up.
“Will you be here when I wake?” she asked, her voice growing softer now.
“Of course. I love you.”
“The pain, it’s gone.” Her voice now came as a mere whisper. Jacob could barely hear her over the beeping of the monitors.
“That’s good.” More tears fell as he began stroking her hair and her soft white cheeks.
“I love you too…” her voice trailed off and the monitor flat lined. Those four words had been her last in her mortal life. Little did he know, she would soon appear to him in spirit form.
