So freaking good! Before I started Elfin Blood I was in a bit of a reading slump, but was immediately drawn into the story and wound up reading it in one sitting! I love the way the author writes and is able to portray so many different types of paranormal creatures.
This was such a fascinating take on Elves. It is definitely a steamy read, but my favorite thing about it was getting the passages of Elfin history and the hierarchy/political aspect of the story. It was intriguing and a great way to engage the reader between the love scenes. I enjoyed both of the characters and learning about how their paranormalness helps to develop their character.
I also loved that there was a bit of back and forth with the main characters before the steamy scenes came into play. It builds things up until that very satisfying moment when ereaders will catch fire. To say they have chemistry would be an understatement.
There is some romance and a bit of betrayal thrown into the mix of the story. Even though this was a novella, I was completely satisfied at the end. (Though I could totally read more! *wink*wink*)
Every paranormal romance fan should check this one out! It has an awesome story to go with the gorgeous cover!
