The Book Waitress by Deena Remiel Review!

Synopsis:
Camille Dutton learned early in life Satan was not to be trifled with. Escaping his evil clutches as a child, he's come back with a vengeance for her now.

Derek Galloway's inquisitive nature has led him to be an award-winning investigative reporter and straight into the path of pure evil.

When a child vanishes from a sleepy island town, Camille, its subdued librarian, becomes embroiled in Derek's investigation. A satanic cult has plans for the child, while Satan has plans for Camille and the rest of the world. Amidst evil of the most supernatural and human kind, Derek and Camille find a shred of light and goodness in the form of their budding relationship.

First in the Book Waitress Series, the portal between Hell and Earth will be torn asunder, and it will take everything Camille and Derek have and then some to close it. Satan won't go down easy, but nothing worth everything comes without a price.

My Review:

If you've read anything else by Deena, you know that one of the best parts of her stories, one of the biggest themes, is good versus evil. She excels at writing characters that are so evil and sinister that you literally get chills from time to time. In her main series the good guys are angels, but what happens when the good guys are just two ordinary people? What happens when these two ordinary people, Camille the delightful Librarian and Derek the handsome investigator, are battling against the devil himself? Deena triumphs once again! I loved this short. It's hauntingly good. (hehe...because there are ghosts in it! ^_^)

Follow Camille, Derek, and  several other interesting characters through the beginning of this riveting brand new tale. Horror, suspense, and hints of romance join together to create a story that you'll finish in one sitting and have you dying to find out what happens next!

Pick up Deena's addicting new series. You'll not be disappointed!

5/5
