How would you introduce your books to someone that has yet to read them?
I write and read books that take me on a journey with the characters... where I laugh, cry, want to throttle someone and at the end, feel as though all is right in their world. Reading and writing for me, is the best form of escapism, the best vacation and the ultimate therapy. If you want a break from the daily grind and you believe that although life may become exceptionally trying, a happy outcome is always a possibility and, if you like your reads ‘spicy’, then give my novels a try.

How many books have you written? What are their titles?
I’ve written five books across three genres. They are:
Home for Love (An Adult Contemporary Romance)
Coffin Girls (An Adult Paranormal Romance)
Supernatural Seduction (An Adult Paranormal Romance)
Ghosts & Lovers (An Erotic Paranormal Novella)
Finding Promise (A Small Town, Contemporary Romance)

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
Acting like a kid – One of the perks of having kids is that you have the perfect excuse to revisit childhood pleasures. Whether it is playing with whoopee cushions, swinging sparklers through the night’s sky or doing flips into the swimming pool, it is all about having fun.
Loving my husband – Every movement, every thought is with him there. He may not always be with me physically but he is ever-present in my subconscious. So, when we spend time together, it is even better and filled with beautiful moments.
My kids and hubby come first but after that, and in order of preference I love… reading, swimming, the beach, exploring new places, cooking, watching series marathons on DVD and eating.

What’s your favorite scene/line from your works?
The book includes a scene set in a rasul, which is a Turkish steam room. Sylvain and Sophie have an interesting (and rather heated) experience in it. I wrote that scene after having visited a rasul. I had been creatively stuck for a few weeks and the combination of Dead Sea mud, steam and a room-wide rain shower did the trick and kick started my writing again.

What are you currently working on?

I love every moment of my new project. It is a Coffin Girls series spin-off in which a group of supernatural warriors are tasked with working together to locate and neutralize feral witch-vampire hybrids. I’m an ‘equal opportunity’ paranormal lover, so this task team consists of an Unseelie fae warrior, an incorrigible wolf-shifter with Voodoo powers, a Seelie fae warrior, a broody, sexy vamp and a witch with remarkable mental and elemental powers.
In their quest to find the feral witch-vamps, this supernatural team of warriors come across many other paranormal creatures and mythological deities who prey on innocent humans. It is essentially a good vs. evil story with loads of action, a good dose of lust, a dash of horror and perhaps some romance too.

What books did you read as a child?

I devoured Enid Blyton books and her novel, The Magic Faraway Tree, is my favorite childhood read. I also loved Nancy Drew mysteries and reading about the adventures of The Famous Five and Secret Seven. A children’s translation and illustration of Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey first introduced me to ancient mythology.

Out of all of your characters, who is your favorite?
Vérène – She is the Unseelie Princess who was banished to the Dark Kingdom by her brother after starting a war. She is sensual, quick-witted and has a mouth that can make you whimper in fear or salivate with desire. She comes across as self-serving and brutal but, her emotional, metal coating is merely armor that hides a need to be loved and a fear of being betrayed yet again. What I love most about her is that she is honest to the point of tactlessness. It is refreshing and I found myself cheering for her as I wrote the book.
The irony is that she was created because a reader won a character contest. Her part was initially supposed to be a small one, but I liked her so much that I included her in the overall plot. She will definitely be starring in her own story in future.

What do you want readers to take away from your books?

I’d like them to feel as though they’d had an enjoyable and relaxing time away from life’s pressures.

Where can fans find you?
