Review: Wicked Kiss by Rebecca Zanetti!

30621511

Working as an informant for the DEA, Victoria Monzelle is used to living on the edge. But she’s not a big fan of getting kidnapped. And definitely not by a bunch of bad boy witches with fancy-colored fire to shoot at people. So when Adam Dunne shows up and claims to be a witch enforcer, she’s not going to put her life in his hands based on his word, no matter how smooth and smart and beautifully Irish his words sound. But on the run from a tribunal of witches, she isn’t going to make it far . . .
Before she knows it, Adam’s word is all that stands between her and execution. Sophisticated, just-gotta-ruffle-him Adam has vowed to make her his one eternal mate, wild and unpredictable as she is—to save her from a sentence of certain death. But Tori isn’t interested in being anyone’s pity date. And if they think she’s unpredictable now, they should see what’s coming next.

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Rebecca Zanetti has worked as an art curator, Senate aide, lawyer, college professor, and a hearing examiner - only to culminate it all in stories about Alpha males and the women who claim them. She writes dark paranormals, romantic suspense, and sexy contemporary romances.

I have loved everything I've ever read from Rebecca and her writing gets stronger with every book she puts out. Every time I pick up one of her novels, I know I am going to fall head over heels for both the characters and the story. Wicked Kiss is no exception. Adam and Victoria have had some serious chemistry since the very beginning and this novel was everything I dreamed it would be and more.

Adam Dunne is hands down my favorite Dunne brother. It's no surprise to me that this is my favorite book of the series (so far - I have not yet had the chance to read the last book in the series.) as I seem to have a thing for the third brother in Rebecca's books. (Nathan!!) Adam and Victoria had the most explosive chemistry. Wicked Kiss is raw and sexy, action packed and suspenseful. It's the first book in this series that had me dying to reread it as soon as I was done because I wanted more of these characters. I love that we see Adam finally lose control and break away from the cool and collected persona he displayed in the first three books. And the sensual scenes that follow will have sparks flying off the screen of your reading device. Victoria is spunky and gives Adam a run for his money.

I am very excited to read book 5, though I am sad that this wonderful series is coming to a close. I have enjoyed every second of these books.

5/5

Blog Tour & Review: Tamed by a Tiger by Felicity Heaton!

by
Felicity Heaton
A snow leopard shifter in the prime of his life, the last thing on August’s mind is tying himself to one female. He welcomes a different one to his bed each night, or at least he had until five months ago when he became alpha. The duties and pressures of running his pride have his libido dead on arrival—until a trip to London to discuss business with the former alpha lands him in the path of a beautiful, bewitching tigress who awakens a passion in him that flares white hot and a need of her that consumes his every moment.
Promised at birth to a male she has never met, Maya has left her pride behind to go to the tiger alpha who is to be her mate, but she can’t leave without saying goodbye to her older brother, Talon. A stop in London at Underworld to see him one last time turns out far different, and far more dangerous, than how she had imagined it when she sets eyes on an alluring crimson-haired stranger who stirs new, unbidden feelings in her, desires that rouse her fiercest and most frightening instincts and demand she stake a claim on him—her fated mate. Will Maya be strong enough to place her pride and her family’s safety before the desires of her own heart? And will August unravel his feelings for the black-haired beauty before it’s too late and he loses her forever?
