Two Tickets to Bearadise by Chasity Bowlin!

A Curvy Beauty Looking To Get Away From It All

Zoe Hawkins has a successful career as a romance writer… except she’s not feeling very into romance and a deadline is looming. When her best friend and fellow author, India, bails on her at the last minute, Zoe does what she’s gotten painfully good at—flying solo. Headed into the mountains for a solitary writing retreat, the city girl is ill equipped to deal with the large and terrifying bear that she encounters as she struggles to get into her rented cabin.

A Sexy Shifter Who Knows What He Wants
Logan might be the youngest of the Arthur brothers, but he’s always known precisely what he wanted. From the moment he sets eyes on the luscious curves of Zoe, city girl or not, he knows she’s the one for him. She’s his mate. Destiny put her in his path and he doesn’t plan to let her get away. Of course, the fact that she’s now terrified of bears and consoling herself with every form of liquor in the minibar doesn’t help.

Happily Ever After?
If Zoe can survive the humiliation of her drunken attempts to seduce him and the hangover that came after, and if Logan can convince her that bears can be cuddly too, they might just have a chance to write a love story of their own.

Review: Unchained by a Forbidden Love by Felicity Heaton!

Lost to the darkness, Fuery wages a daily war against the corruption that lives within him, constantly in danger of slipping into the black abyss and becoming the monster all elves fear. Work as an assassin gives him purpose, but what reason is there to go on when he killed the light of his life—his fated mate?
Shaia has spent forty-two centuries mourning her mate. Tired and worn down, she agrees to wed a male of her family’s choosing, following tradition that has always bound her as a female and hoping she will be able to gain just a little freedom in return. But as she resigns herself to being the mate of a male she could never love, fate places an old friend in her path—one who tells her that her lost love is alive.
Will Shaia find the courage to break with tradition and leave the elf kingdom in search of her mate? And as a ray of light pierces his soul again, can Fuery find the strength to win his battle against the darkness or will it devour him and that light of their forbidden love forever?

I cannot believe this is book 15 in the series! I have enjoyed every book in this series, and while this one isn't one of my favorites, it is still a solid story. The author is very skilled at crafting wonderful paranormal tales full of action and romance and truly remarkable world building.

I love that this novel is about the power of love and the ability it has to save someone you love. It was very powerful and sweet. Another theme within the story I really enjoyed was good vs evil and light vs darkness. I loved watching Furey (with the help of Shaia) fight and conquer the darkness. The balance between both is great. One of my favorite part of this novel were the flashbacks of the couple from when they were younger. I liked seeing the contrast from the characters from their past to their present as well as the political/status contrast. I also loved that we got to see characters from previous novels in this story.

As always, I highly recommend this series to any paranormal romance lover, especially those that love unique worlds and great world building in their stories. I am eagerly anticipating the next book in this series and am hoping that Hartt will get his own story.
