Blog Tour: Hunter's Moon by Lisa Kessler!

Hunter’s Moon
Lisa Kessler

Sasha’s future was stolen from her the moment she was bitten. Now she's on the run from the Nero Organization that transformed her from a human detective into a shape shifting jaguar assassin.
When a rogue bounty hunter threatens her younger sister, she'll be forced to fight, and with nowhere else to turn, Sasha will need to trust the one man who has every reason to want her dead.
Aren is a werewolf with a secret. While protecting his twin brother and Alpha of the Pack, he found his one mate for life. Sadly she's also the jaguar assassin who tried to kill them both. Now Aren is struggling between his animal nature to love and protect her, and his loyalty to the Pack.

Characters make the Story…

Hi everyone –
I’m excited to be here today!!!
My life has been a crazy whirlwind for a few months now with the release of my new Moon Series!!!  HUNTER’S MOON hit the streets last month, and it’s been so fun to finally be able to share this book with readers…
This book features Aren and Sasha who have a rough road to trust and redemption, but it also builds on the Pack in Reno, Nevada. I love writing all the secondary characters in this series. Each wolf has his own personality and his own view of life in the Pack. But as a paranormal romance, I had to be sure I kept my focus on the hero and heroine so it forced me to create characters that I hope readers will be able to connect with and relate to quickly.
That’s where character quirks come in. They don’t have to be major, but a small quirk can help make a character more memorable and lifelike.  We all have quirks, some larger than others, but ask any friend you’ve known for a long time and they can probably give you a list of your quirks. J
As an example, in HUNTER’S MOON, Aren is a fan of Elvis’ music and that ends up playing a big part in the book. He and Sasha also share a love for fast cars which helps to build their tenuous bond in the beginning of the book. For me, these little touches made the characters feel more human and a little less fictional.
So do you have any quirks you’re willing to share?  Have you given any of your fictional characters quirks?  I hope you’ll share…
