Salon Games, #1
Antiques dealer Annabelle Elder’s life is nowhere near as passionate as the erotic art she collects. A cheating ex-boyfriend and her business have seen to that. So when she attends a New Year’s Eve party at Haven Hotel, she sees a chance to blow off some steam. But she never expected to meet anyone like Jared—or to experience such passion in his arms…
Handsome, rich, and charming as hell, Jared Golden brought his Midas touch to Haven Hotel—and created an anything-goes pleasure palace on one floor to cater to his special friends and their very special desires. After falling in lust with Annabelle at first sight, seducing her was easier than he expected. What he didn’t expect was to be seduced in turn…But unrestrained passion in the bedroom is not the only spark between Annabelle and Jared. Their mutual attraction is confounded by their separate pasts. Caught in an ever-growing web of painful secrets and sensual fantasy, will they be able to face the truth about themselves and trust in true love?

Tyler Golden is all about control. It’s an attitude that helped him and his brother build Haven, a boutique hotel in
. The only thing Philadelphia couldn’t control was his fiancée’s death. It left him emotionally guarded, and willing to go only so far with women: satisfying his sexual needs. Tyler
Kate Song knows the feeling. Her sole focus is her dream to be a lingerie designer. She’s not about to be distracted by any man. No matter who he is. Or how demanding. Or forceful. Or captivatingly sexy. Or so she thought.
has the power to make her dream come true. Who can say no to such a dominating personality? Who would want to? Not Kate. Offering her body for submission is one thing. But giving her heart and soul is another. Now Tyler may discover that the one woman who taught him to love again is the one woman he might not be able to keep. Tyler
I'm a recovering English major and a reformed reporter who enjoys making up stories much more than writing about real life. I write sexy series that combine heat with heart. The Salon Games series (BY PRIVATE INVITATION, NO RESERVATIONS, upcoming OVER EXPOSED) and AN INDECENT PROPOSITION are contemporary erotic romances. I also write five paranormal erotic series: Magical Seduction, Lucani Lovers, Forgotten Goddesses, Darkly Enchanted and Lovers on the Fringe. And I write the straight contemporary romance series, DeMarco Investigations.
I'm happily married to a Springsteen fanatic and I'm the mother of two sons who love me even when they don't have any clean clothes and dinner is whatever they can find in the fridge.

Tell my fans a little bit about yourself and your books.
I’ve been a writer for most of my life and a reader for all of it. I started reading romance when I was in 6th grade and found my mom’s stash of Rosemary Rogers and Kathleen Woodiwiss hidden under her bed. After I graduated college with an English degree, I got a job writing for a local newspaper but, after the birth of my first son, I quit to go freelance and started writing for publication. I haven’t looked back. I adore writing hot but my erotic books have to have a strong emotional core. I also love paranormal and creating new and interesting worlds.
How many books have you written? What are their titles?
How about series titles? Salon Games are contemporary erotic romance set in a posh Philadelphia hotel. Indecent is also contemporary erotic. Forgotten Goddesses, Lucani Lovers, Magical Seduction, Darkly Enchanted and Lovers on the Fringe are erotic paranormals. DeMarco Investigations are sexy contemporaries.
What genre have you not yet written, but would like to try?
I have always wanted to write a continuing Urban Fantasy series. I’d love to create a character like Anita Blake or Harry Dresden that I could follow for several books. But I’m kind of ADD so sticking to just one character for so many books might strain my short attention span. Or maybe I just haven’t met the right character yet.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?
I love hockey, especially going to games. The hubby and I have season tickets to the Reading Royals, an ECHL team. Plus, the guys are HOT! I also love to run and bike and walk and cruise Etsy looking for interesting jewelry. I became a hard rock and metal fan when my sons started listening to it and I love taking them to concerts. I also have an addiction to Broadway and, since I live only a couple of hours from New York, I get to indulge myself. More than I probably should.
What are you currently reading?
I’m working my way through the Cut & Run series by Abigail Roux and Madeleine Urban. Love Ty and Zane. I’ve got the next Harry Dresden book queued up. I’m a few books behind in the JD Robb In Death series but I love Eve and Roarke so they’re on the list. And as soon Lora Leigh’s, JR Ward’s and Nalini Singh’s next books release, I’ll be reading those.
What are you currently working on?
I’m working on edits for the third Salon Games book, OVER EXPOSED, and writing the fourth Forgotten Goddesses book, WHERE A GODDESS BELONGS.
What genre is your favorite to read?
Romance, the hotter the better. I love a happy ending and the hotter the book, the better.
Do you listen to music while you write?
No, I don’t listen to music while I write, but I do listen to music when I run and I get some of my best plots from a long run on a clear day.
What's been your favorite moment as an author?
Every time a reader comes up to me and says “I loved your book.” Yes, I do write my stories for myself first but when others enjoy them too, it totally makes my day.
Out of all of your characters, who is your favorite?
If I only get to pick just one, it has to be Greg from OVER EXPOSED, which releases in July. You got to meet Greg in NO RESERVATIONS.
You’re stranded on a desert island. What books do you take with you?
Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changeling series, Stephen King’s THE STAND, a Shakespeare compendium, JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series and the Harry Dresden series.
What is your dream vacation destination?
Italy. I want to go for at least a month. I was there three times in high school with student tours. I loved the history, the ancientness of it.
