This series never gets old. I hope there are many more books to come in this series because I never want it to end. It was so interesting to read a story about two characters that were already mates. Their relationship was so interesting to learn about; from revenge to love. I loved that the story came full circle while showing the reader all the dramatic events that unfolded in their full glory. The story is definitely full of powerful emotions, not only love and lust, but revenge and hatred. To have mates that (sort of) despise each other in the beginning was a different dynamic than I've seen before, but it worked.
Phantoms are a super cool creature I've never read about before, but am dying to read more about. There's something so alluring about a powerful, ghostly being. That's one of my favorite things about this world. There are so many types of unique paranormal creatures together in once place. Their world is so thought out, it's as if you could step off of the page, into the story. That is the mark of a talented author. And like I've said before, Felicity Heaton is one heck of an author. I hope more of her stories feature phantoms in the future!
Pick this one up if you love a good paranormal romance with some sweet and spicy elements. There are an abundance of paranormal creatures present and a HEA!
