When Raum was sent to Oklahoma to help a young girl transform into a Devada he knew there was something different about her. She wasn’t like any other Devada he’d known. When secrets are revealed he is surprised at how special Hannah truly is.

They rode through town and Hannah was saddened by the empty lot where her house once stood.  Memories of that horrid night flooded her thoughts turning her sadness into rage.  As they passed the high school her eyes landed on the spot where Chris used to park.  Someone else had parked there but knowing that Chris would never park his truck there again set her blood to boiling.
Raum felt her tense.  He knew those emotions well.  He experienced several deaths of loved ones throughout his many years on this earth.  That was just the price you paid for serving a higher purpose.  Being immortal was both a blessing and a curse all rolled into one big package.
They neared the edge of town.  “Hold on tight,” he yelled above the roar of the engine.  She squeezed her arms tight around his waist.
When he was sure that she was secure, he sped off down the highway.  The cool breeze hitting her body soothed her temper.  She inhaled deeply the air that leaked into her helmet and focused on Raum.  He was her rock, the one thing she could count on in this messed up world.
She let the highway fade away as she concentrated on her boyfriend.  The muscles in his stomach flexed ever so slightly as he maneuvered his bike along the twists and turns of the old road.  Using her index finger, she traced the outline of his abs.

Tell my fans a little bit about yourself and your books.

I am your average girl. I love Country, Rock, Rap, Hip Hop, Alternative, and Pop music. Some of the shows I love to watch are WWE, The Walking Dead, Once Upon A Time, Nashville, and ABC daytime soaps. My favorite color is purple and I love butterflies and dragonflies. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 16 years and we have 5 kids ranging in age from 6-16.

How would you introduce your books to someone that has yet to read them?

YA supernatural slash paranormal and a nice clean rocker contemporary romance.

What inspired you to start writing? What age did you start?

I started writing in Jr High when my best friend introduced me to her short stories. I instantly fell in love with her horror stories and decided to write my own stories in my notebooks.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?

I love hanging out with the family. With 5 kids there is plenty of things to occupy our time: cook outs, swimming, concerts, I have a daughter that is a book nerd so it’s always fun to hang out with her in our local B&N.

What advice would you give to an aspiring author?

First: Don’t give up. There will always be that one person that will give you negative feedback and that’s okay. Your story is yours and it deserves to be heard, give it life and share it with the world.

Second: Make sure to polish up your work and find a good editor. Build relationships amongst the readers and start forming your support group. Readers love interacting with and supporting the author.

What’s your favorite scene/line from your works?

Here’s a snippet from Divulgence:

She followed Raum down the hallway toward the kitchen. Her eyes traveled down the length of his well defined back. His muscles flexed under that tight T-shirt with each stride he took.

She allowed her eyes to travel just a little further, admiring the way his jeans hugged his hips. Jeez, if her parents were still alive then she would be grounded for eternity for the thoughts going through her mind.

Her concentration had been lost on the sexiness of her boyfriend that she hadn’t notice Raum had stopped walking. She walked right into him, losing her balance and landing on her backside. Serves me right, she thought to herself.

Josh grinned, doing his best not to laugh at Hannah’s misfortune. Raum turned, chuckled, and then offered her a hand. “I know, sometimes my sexiness is blinding.”

Hannah felt the heat rising in her cheeks. The boy had no idea how true his statement really was. Well, at least for her. “Thank you,” she said as he pulled her to her feet. “Have I told you lately how conceited you are?”

“Um, no you haven’t. Well, at least not for a few days.” Raum gave her that crooked smile that always seemed to melt her heart. Dang if he wasn’t hot when he smiled like that.

What's the hardest thing about writing?

That would have to be the aftermath of writing. Writing the story is the easy part, the hard part comes after you write that last sentence. Then you have the chore of re-writes, edits, sending to the editor, more edits and sometimes re-writes, a round of beta readers, more edits, planning a release day blitz, a blog tour, and then promotion.

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Ink: Fine Lines by Bella Roccaforte.

What books did you read as a child?

The first novel I read was Heidi. From that point on I read everything I could though I’ve always had a tendency to read more paranormal that anything.

How has your life changed since you began writing?

I would say that I’m not nearly as shy as I once was. Building relationship among the book community has strengthened my social skills a bit.

Do you listen to music while you write?

Absolutely! I search for songs that have the same or similar theme as my current wip and I have that playlist going the entire time I sit to write.

What's been your favorite moment as an author?

My favorite moment…holding my book in my hands. I get that same giddy smile and do that same crazy happy dance with every book I publish. Another thing I love is my new group of friends I’ve made in this community.

Out of all of your characters, who is your favorite?

I’m not sure I can pick just one. I love Ryder from Love Redeemed. He is sexy and carefree. I also love Raum from the Angels & Demons series. He’s one of those that is sexy and he knows it.

What do you want readers to take away from your books?

My books YA books are about overcoming the evil in this world and my contemporary romance is about second chances.

What is your dream vacation destination?

Right now I would love to vacation in FL.

Do you have any interesting dreams or goals?

I would love to instill hope, love and forgiveness in the next generation.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself traveling more for events and also for fun. And hopefully I will have written several more books and made more bookie friends.

Tich is an Oklahoma resident and the mother of five. Her passion for reading started at an early age when her Aunt Vicky gave her the novel Heidi for Christmas. She didn’t start writing until middle school, after being inspired by her best friend’s short stories. “Genny’s stories weren’t just great but they inspired me to put my pen and paper to good use.” Tich never thought of publishing her works until working with Teresa on the Royal Blood series.
